I must have 5 GCSES with a grade C or a above with at least a C in english language and also a portfolio is required.

-all I need for this course is one A-level or AS-level, and 3 A-C GCSE grades and a portfolio of work.

Fees: £3,000 tuition + £115 registration (subject to review). If you are under 19 years old on 31 August (before the start of the course) you do not pay tuition fees for this course. Fees stated could be subject to review.

Evaulation

My ideas have changed though out the project so at the start I really thought that I would be doing a Gif for the final piece but near the end I found out about flash and that I could do a step by step frame thing that would end up to be my final outcome.

Then I have been researching different things but none of the things I have researched have inspired me to do what I did in flash, I haven't been inspired by my teacher as I found this out all by myself with no help from anyone. The peer feedback on the other hand really inspired me to do more to improve my work as they are the target audience so their for have a big influence to my work and how I do it.

With my peer feedback to my self I didn't feel that anything need to be changed for my animation, this was because I thought that with this if I did one thing wrong it may have made the animation not what it is and wouldn't of had my own little bit of me in it.

Feedback for my final animation which some of my class mates looked at it and this is what they said back.

Good points

• Could use a bit of colour in it.
• Maybe a song will make this piece of work really good.

So I went away and only added colour to my work.

Final animation

This is my final animation to promote coulsdon college which is what I got set to do at the start, It starts with the logo for the college which is the big c which was designed for the college, so when it rolls over it becomes a person and shows off loads of different lessons during the whole video. The lessons shown in the video which are:

• Science
• Music
• Art
• IT
• Sport
• Film studies
• Business 
• Media
• Spanish and maths

These subjects are chosen to show off the college it mix's between normal subjects such as maths and science then different subjects like art, media and film studies, also I put one language "spanish" to show that we do languages here at coulsdon.

Flash animation test example

The artist who goes by the name Hort, uses his/hers paper techniques in a very creative way. First of all the artist uses color to effect the way you look at the art work, first of all the first layer is plain and boring so it doesn’t look like much is going on, then the paper seems to be ripped off in away like its going under its skin so it shows what a boring peace can easily be a fun and colorful piece. The only materials used in this is piece is paper and card, in some cases the card is primary school colors to make it look more liker the artist style of doing. The color part is either been colored in or is the paper/ card normal color but yet the effect would be so much better if it has been colored in that for this.

This is my intil ideas for my final animation, It shows how many frames I will have in it possibly,although I may add more subjects to make the animation longer and more effective.

The subjects Im doing will be science, art, music and IT.This covers a wide range of subjects and their for promoting the college

This is the good and the bad things about this college ( Coulsdon college), the many bad things are worse than the god things on this good to bad ratio. this is because of the college is worse than good but yet I have enough good points about the project to make an advert for this task that I have been set.

Evaluation

When I created an animated gif I first had to think of a subject to do with college subjects such as:

·      French

·      English

·      Science

·      Graphics

·      Fine art

So with my subject in hand , in being (fine art), I set to work in creating ideas for it. So my idea was to do a simple couple of pictures and with these all I would do this paint out the world ART for the subject fine Art. So with the pictures I took them into photo shop and made an animation by using the animation tool.

My animation works well with what I was set out to do , to show off fine art. One it has a easel which is a art related subject which are used though out art every day. It also worked with all the different movements that took long and looked very well done at the end of it.

The way I could make my animation much better is by make it short as I feel it went on to many slides to long. Maybe to make the animation have music in it and maybe add in more skillful techniques from adobe photo shop  which I didn’t use.

The artist that I used for information to help me was none of the artist that we looked at could help me with my Gif.

If I did this again I would change my subject so I could pick my subject so its more fun as I had different ideas for different subjects for all of them.

I may also improve it to be different ideas on different subjects basically.

Flash techniques

My first reaction of this work and the first word that poped into my head with this work was freaky. When I took a closer look into the pictures or the gifs, and I noticed that all the pictures was all one still picture but littlie parts of the body such as hair in one of them was moving and then in overs like taxis was moving and other different objects but never the human in the picture moved,unless it was hair or something like clothes on them.

The scale of this work was all over the place the amount of pictures that have done with the same effect are really great, and the ideas for this just keep on coming out and are just amazing to be honest.

This is basically a lot of pictures all done in the same way with different locations and different ideas and lots of different things moving. They are all done by one picture and with that are edited in either photoshop or flash and with this different objects are moved though out the whole thing and project.

Type of thing this is, is basically a gif. A gif is basically a sertant amount of pictures taken but moved around a lot, but a gif can only have a sertant amount of pictures and frames otherwise it would be a complete animation that would be longer than one minute long.

The people inthese pictures are only girls,the reason for this maybe because the person doing the animation/gif is basically a woman so with this she may just see the girls as being her so their for she can express her work in a more great place.

The artist or photographer that does these peace’s of work use’s color not as much as she should which gives the photos a more girl thing type thing to do with the whole animation and gif, but yet the color she uses are very well done and are used in away in which you can see it clearly.

Adobe professional is to create presentations, applications and loads of different other content that responds to the user basically.
Projects with flash animation are things such as simple animations,videos,complex user interfaces,applications once again.
SWF stands for shockwave flash
The reason why projects use flash is because vector graphics take up less memory and storage space.
Vector graphics in flash are created with the use of geometric primitives so in this case you would use anchor points, and many different lines and many different shapes.
A symbol in flash is basically either a movie clip and sometimes can include art work, once you have made a symbol it will appear in the library and can reuse the symbol over and over again.
One main part to flash is the stage like the canvas that defines the visible area during playback; you arrange  graphics, videos, buttons, and other elements on the Stage while authoring projects.the secound main part of flash is the timeline which controls the timing that specifies elements in the movie which once again appers in stages which goes back to the first stage. Onther main part of flash is tools panel which creates a select number of objects and shapes,propeties displays contextual info about many different shapes and stuff. The library for flash contains loads of elements and symbols that get stored from the last project.
An action script allows you to add elements to your doceument so you can also add in buttons to display images and many other objects.
When you have finished authoring your FLA file, you publish it by selecting File > Publish (or pressing Shift+F12). The publish operation generates a compressed version of your file with the extension .swf (known as a SWF file). Adobe Flash Player is used to play the SWF file in a web browser or as a stand-alone application.

First Animation

Review

This is my first animation which I got four people to help me out with this animation,with this in hand I had to do a review of this animation. This animation was my first and was a type of animation which is called (stop picture animation). In this animation I used my self and another person that was helping me, so with this we are running in on time to lesson.Then after we get half way down the pathway another person runs down and knocks us down to the floor.

Animation Research

This advert was really cool when I watched it so I thought I would us this as my h/w. This animation with the socks are very life like in away so to me the animation ticks all the boxes for me, like the way it moves and stuff. The ideas with this such as the drink with the sock in it with the straw is very well done.

this was my second animation that I thought really inspired me as it was all about a slogan though out the whole animation which was smaller,smarter and better.The way it is is done is more unique than everything which is basically a cut out of a stick fique man and it moves along the pages to get to the Ipod nano which is what all this annimation was all about.

This is a really cool animation it is all about the start of all the production of this farmer then it goes onto it going into factories and stuff then at the end the farm gives over a pig to his son so it can start off again but right this time.

In my opinion my favourite one is the last one as it is done in a very nice way and has a great story and a great idea behind it. With this in mind this does not inspire me but I have loads of different ideas for my final animation

Breif

Coulsdon college six form has asked a few local animators that would pitch for a brand new web based ad to help the college look better.It can be done by photo based animation or a hand made collage or a flash anima.
The target audience is for audience's aged 15/16 years of age.In this I will need to consider unique selling points to help this advert show the college in the right way.
At the end of the artwork I will have to present my samples and my work to the board of directors at the end.And it will be filmed!
